An Unexpected Delay
Our landscaping project has been moving along at something between a snail and sloths' pace.
Yesterday it slowed down.
I'm not complaining, really. We're not in a rush, and Steve Miller, with Salty Dog Construction and Landscaping, is a good guy, working for a fair price.
Yesterday he got between a wheel-barrel full of crushed rock and gravity, and his leg paid the price in two places. So he'll be getting a screw and cast today, and probably out of commission for a couple weeks at least.
Good thing I'm not attached to the idea of having a manicured lawn in the immediate future (or, really, ever...)
