Strike 2
It took me an hour to get from the Bellevue office to the ferry.
If this is a harbinger of things to come, the folks at exbiblio may get their wish.

The two dead MC batteries that morning. :-/
One of them is dead dead (won't take/hold a charge), I've ordered a replacement. It's a 5 year old battery, so that's not completely unexpected. The other one is charging now and should be OK (it's under a year old, so if not, it's under warranty).
